Grenada Gravel Concrete: CORPORATE INFORMATION
Gravel, Concrete & Emulsion Production Corporation is a statutory mining organisation which has been established by an Act of
Parliament (Act 43 of 1986) by the Government of Grenada to manage the exploitation of naturally occurring aggregate materials on the island.
The Minister of Works and Public Utilities of the Government of Grenada is responsible for the appointment of the Board of Directors and directing the policies
and general administration of the Corporation.
We currently conduct our operations from 3 main locations on the island:
Mon Rush, St. George's in the South
Queens Park, St George's in the South
Telescope, St. Andrew's in the North Eastern part of the island
From these locations, there are three (3) main operating divisions:
Gravel Mining Operations: based at Mon Rush, St. George’s, gravel mining constitutes the core and most critical function of our operations. We mine and screen a variety of gravel aggregates as well as the production of inland quarry sand for the local and regional construction industry.
Concrete & Concrete Products Operations: based at Queens Park, St. George’s; this entails batching and supplying ready mix concrete and various size concrete blocks.
Rock Mining Operations: based at Telescope, St. Andrew’s; this entails the crushing and screening of a variety of aggregates such as rock amour and boulders.
