At Gravel, Concrete &amo; Emulsion Production Corporation’s Mon Rush operations, we produce a variety of screened and crushed gravel aggregates from the volcanic scoria.
This includes:
3/4" Minus - this gravel consists of sizes ranging from 3/4" – 3/16" in diameter.
This material is used in the manufacture of concrete, asphalt as
well as a decorator for gardens.
1/2" Minus - Used in the manufacture of concrete blocks and asphalt. It can also be applied as a decorator for gardens.
3/8" Fines - This can be used in the manufacture of concrete blocks. It is also used as a filling for flower pots.
1/4" Minus (Rice Grain) – these are gravels with 1/4" diameter or less. This gravel size is also used in the manufacture of concrete blocks. It is also used as a filling for flower pots.
Un-sifted Gravel – gravel that is found in its natural state in the pit and can range from 4' to 0' in diameter.
Boulder – This material has a variety of uses including application as a backfill and sub-base for roads
Binding – this category of gravel can also be used for a variety of purposes including foundation filling, base for roads, backfill as well as moulding for plants.
